Dr. Saipe has been involved with supply chain and logistics management for most of his working career – as a management consultant, an educator, and a line manager. He has consulted for 30 years with BearingPoint, formerly KPMG Consulting, and its predecessor companies, and now, as the Principal of Saipe & Associates. Dr. Saipe is also the President of Supply Chain Surveys Inc., a company that develops and delivers customized industry-based supply chain benchmarking surveys.
Dr. Saipe has had a long affiliation with Supply Chain & Logistics Canada. He is a Past Chairman of the Association, having been on its National Board of Directors for 9 years. He teaches executive courses at the Schulich School of Business where he held an appointment as an Associate Professor and taught in the MBA program in the 1970’s. He has also held an appointment as an Adjunct Professor at the School of Management, University of Toronto, where he taught in the Executive MBA Program, and was also Director of Operations at Connaught Laboratories Limited.
Dr. Saipe obtained his B.A.Sc. in Engineering Science and his M.A.Sc. and Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Toronto.
